Upcoming Volunteer Meetings:We will have weekly information meetings beginning on Sunday, April 28th at the Panera Bread in the Fairfax Shopping center in N. Wilmington from 5-6 PM. Please come to meet other volunteers, get your paperwork in and have your questions answered. Take one or more weeks of vacation and volunteer with us in Jacmel! We need physicians, nurses, camp counselors, mental health counselors, and anyone who wants to help.

2012 Summer Camp Was a Huge Success! Our third annual recreation camp and health and wellness clinic in Jacmel is now over. Our camp served over 100 children daily who participated in arts and crafts, sports and games. They were all fed a nutritious lunch and given plenty of water, the necessities of life which we will never again take for granted. Our medical clinic saw approximately 500 patients, many of whom had never before seen a doctor. Special thanks to our Haitian team of wonderful artists and translators for making this happen. We would like to especially thank Pastor Gerson and Captain Jeanine of the Salvation Army for allowing us to carry out our mission. And thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who traveled to Haiti to make this happen and to everyone else who donated both time and funds to our cause. 2. Fill-out the 2013 application which is on-line. Just click the
"Resource/Information" Link in the menu at the left. Mail it
with a copy of your drivers license to the HFI address: PO Box

3. Make your airline reservations to Port-Au-Prince and return.
NOTE: HFI will no longer be reserving group airline tickets. If you
are from the Delaware / NY/ Philadelphia region, please
book the flights listed below. We will be traveling on Friday
evenings from BWI (Baltimore), staying ovenight in Fort
Lauderdale and arriving in Port-Au-Prince on Saturday
mornings. The return flights depart and arrive in Baltimore on
Saturdays.
If you are coming from another area, please try to meet the
flight below in Ft. Lauderdale and travel with the team from
there to Port-Au-Prince (PAP). If you want to meet your team
directly in PAP, please meet us at the airport close to 9:00 AM
Saturday morning. This insures that we can travel together
from the airport to Jacmel as a group.
